What made you want to become a Physical Therapist?
I have always been interested in the medical profession and helping people. My love for dance is what led me to my interest in physical therapy. I had relied so much on dance to be my outlet and felt for my friends or other people I knew, who had been injured and could no longer participate in the sport or activity they loved. It was then that I realized I wanted to help people get back to doing what they love and help people improve their quality of life through PT.
How do you think this program has helped you prepare for graduate school?
Being a part of this program has prepared me by keeping me on top of all my requirements and helping me maintain the high expectations needed for graduate school. The most beneficial part of the program is having an amazing advisor who guides me through each step as I approach applying for PT school.
A fun fact about me is that I can walk in a back-bend!
