What made you want to become a Physical Therapist?
My journey in physical therapy began in 10th grade when I had to go to PT for a calf issue and since then many others in my family have gone as well. It is amazing to witness first hand how they have recovered and left physical therapy feeling even better than they did pre-injury. Helping others is something that has always caught my attention and I feel there is no better way to do it then to help individuals recover from injuries and motivate them through what is usually a long term healing process.
How do you think this program has helped you prepare for graduate school?
This program has helped me prepare for graduate school by providing me with a course schedule of when and what courses to take. The emphasis on shadowing hours has also helped greatly as this past summer I got to learn more about the field and also reassure myself that this is the path for me.
A fun fact about me is that I love sports, with soccer being my favorite and will religiously watch the English Premier League every weekend that it is on.
