What made you want to become a Physical Therapist?
What made me want to become a Physical Therapist was me experiencing therapy before and knowing how much of an impact they can have. I always wanted to be in a profession where I can feel good about what I do. It’s also a profession that is evolving and there’s always something new. You can specialize in different things, and it gives you the privilege of applying all your knowledge and helping out people for a living.
How do you think this program has helped you prepare for graduate school?
This program has helped me prepare for graduate school by creating higher standards for us that will be expected later on. There are many resources at our disposal and the advisors help us stay on top of things because they ultimately want us to succeed. That support and guidance is reassuring and can go a long way. It also offered us opportunities to get more involved and improve our resumes.
A fun fact about myself is that I am a huge FC Barcelona fan and I enjoy playing soccer and running. It’s just an outlet for me and it’s always nice to go out for some fresh air.
