What made you want to become a Physical Therapist?
I wanted to be a physical therapist ever since I could remember. When I was 2 years old, my mom was in a car accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. I loved going with her to her PT visits and was so interested in all the new and cool equipment that was used in the field. This made me want to become a PT so I can help others like her to progress through injuries and get them back to normal for their families. Also, being a student-athlete I have been in and out of PT multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed all of my experiences.
How do you think this program has helped you prepare for graduate school?
This program has helped me immensely with preparing for graduate school with all of the workshops and networking opportunities with different physical therapists. Dr. Nagle and all of the program advisors have been so supportive in answering any questions that I had and making sure that I have everything I need to succeed in my future career as a physical therapist. Through their support, they have helped me feel confident and kept me on track for applying to graduate school.
A fun fact about me is that I love softball and am currently the Vice President of the Rutgers Club Softball team. I also have been to Italy 4 times to visit my extended family there!
