Rutgers University Doctor of Physical Therapy South Program is located in scenic Blackwood, NJ located about 30 minutes east of Philadelphia.
The current DPT program was established in 2006 and has been accredited to offer the DPT degree by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education since that time.
Our graduation rate and National Board Exam pass rates remain well above average and many of our graduates go on to become leaders in our profession. The program is three years in length and graduates earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy after successfully completing 110 credits in that time.
The Doctor of Physical Therapy South Program’s curriculum is designed to provide a student's first degree in physical therapy and prepare health professionals who will function competently and creatively as members of an interdisciplinary team of professionals in a dynamic health care environment.
